Dues

Sang Moo Kwan Kumdo Club is a membership organization.

Members pay monthly non-refundable dues of $100.

 

Members are encouraged to pay the dues in advance on an annual, semi-annual, or quarterly basis.  

We do not charge by the class.  

Dues are used for contributions to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church to cover electricity for the gym, liability insurance payments, and other expenses.  

Instructors are not paid.  

Paying monthly dues allows Sang Moo Kwan Kumdo Club to offer instruction at a relatively low rate for all members. 

 

A Family Rate:

The first member of a single family is $100; the second member is $70; the third member is $40; the fourth and more; free.

A Special Rate for the members of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church congregation:

$80 per month.

A Special Family Rate for the members of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church congregation:

The first member of a single family is $80; the second member is $50; the third and more; free.

Fees

There are fees for participating in the competitions and for the Dan promotions which will be announced when the occasion arises.

Equipment

New members of the club can use their own Kumdo(Kendo) equipment.  

Moreover, a new member can consult senior club members concerning equipment, and also purchase dobok(keikogi, hakama - uniform), Jookdo(shinai - bamboo sword), and hogu(bogu - armor) through Sang Moo Kwan Kumdo Club at reasonable prices.
